so sad
Since about 1 year our youngest son Lloyd has had a new girlfriend Lisanne.
She is a psychology student in Groningen in the north of Holland (about 2 1/2 hours from us).
Her parents live almost literally around the corner from us.
There was a fire in one of the student residences this morning and Lisanne's flatmate died in the fire.
It wasn't the student residence where Lisanne and her friend normally live but her friend had stayed the night there with her boyfriend.
Lisanne is so upset that Lloyd has been relieved at his work so that he can go to her.
Please keep everyone involved in your thoughts.

Oh, NO. Every parents' worst nightmare (her friend's parents, I'm thinking of). How awful. I'll be thinking of all involved, and praying for healing of their pain.

What a terrible loss for everyone. Prayers and aloha to all affected.
