Smile I beat a ticket today!

Got a ticket for running a red light a few months back. Got stuck behind another vehicle at an intersection and the light changed. Anyway, went to traffic court and WON!. $100 ticket gone. Anyone else ever fight a ticket?

    That's cool and congrats.

No, I never fought a ticket because I was always guilty.

Not for me personally, but I fought one for my dh quite a few years ago...the judge agreed the intersection was confusing & cut his fine in half.

That is awesome! way to go!
I haven't ever had a ticket, but if I felt I was not guilty, I would definitely fight it!

Agreed. If I were guilty I would have just paid it. It's a pain to go thru the whole process.

My DD did and won she went to turn a corner and out of no where a cop came along and pulled her over said she was doing 35 on a corner and she did not stop for the stop sign this is a very sharp corner ,then the cop opened the back door and checked my granddaughters car seat but he made the mistake of checking the snap between my granddaughter legs when DD went to court and the judge found out what the cop did to granddaughter it was thrown right out and yes he is still a cop see he had no right to touch my granddaughter , that's why it got thrown out.Other then that it would of been 135.00 fine.

Yeah, I beat a speeding ticket. I didn't even have to go to court. I met the assistant DA (now he's a judge) at a party one night and he said if I ever needed anything to call him. Well, when I got a speeding ticket for doing 38 in a 25, I took him up on his offer and he made it "go away". It was nice how that worked! Not bragging or anything though...
