DH and Freebies Rant!

we get our mail at our hosue and I know it wouldnt bother him how many freebies wed get. Just wish in our area we could get more lol

My dh has a problem with free, because he says that 'free' comes with an obligation and he feels that very keenly. He feels that even with the guy handing out sample cans of Coke Zero, for instance. The next visit to the store, dh feels obliged to buy at least 1 can of Coke Zero. He's slowly coming round, though. He's just not used to this kind of advertising.

Most freebies I sneak into the house. Once it's in the stockpile, no-one notices it was free. Whenever dh says he liked a product or a certain snack, I will quickly check and tell him it was free, and he seems pleased.

I'm just slowly winning him over to accept the abundance of Western society. There's so much going around, that some of it drops, and if it does, why not in our laps?
