Yep, and don't forget the "gadgets"...egg slicer, at least a couple sets of measuring spoons, flour scoop, ice cream scoop, ridge slicer, tongs...and the list goes on
Oh yeah..and all those containers...Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Well I can't speak for family and friends because I don't have any idea what they have. I try to keep what I will use on a regular basis.
I have a set of good metal pans(a soup kettle, a large saucepan and a small saucepan with lids) that I got as a wedding gift 21 years ago. Use these at home and camping
I have two other nice sized saucepans with lids that my mom got me for Christmas a couple of years ago at my request.
I have a set of non-stick (soup kettle, large saucepan, small saucepan and skillet with lids)
I have a couple of other small saucepans for things like a can of corn, etc.
I have a set of 3 soup kettles that are big! I use these for at home and camping. I cook in them, heat water on the campfire, etc.
I have one other regular sized soup kettle too
I have a large non-stick skillet and then a set of three T-Fal ones that are small, medium and large
I have an electric skillet and an electric griddle and a crockpot(use these at home and when we are camping).
I have two bundt cake pans, four regular sized cookie sheets, one large cookie sheet, one small one. I have two round pizza pans. I have two 9x13 cake pans and a large roasting pan. Three 6 cupcake pans and one that does 12 at a time. And a mini muffin pan.
I have two metal large loaf pans, three small ones and one large glass one all used for baking breads.
I have a large glass casserole dish, two smaller ones and a square one. One round one with lid. I have one round glass pie plate.
Each piece of my cook/bakeware has it's use and I can honestly say that I use them alot. I cook and bake ALOT.S

Uhhhhhh, do you mean me? lol
Mind you I tell myself I can't get lots of items because of space.
So I have:
six different sizes and kinds of skillets
one dutch oven
one stock pot
wok
two different size saucepans
large iron skillet
waffle maker
two different size crockpots
fondue pot
three cookie sheets
four cookie racks
bundt cake pan
6 different types of mixing bowls
5 different types and sizes casseroles
5 different types of loaf pans
jello mold
2 different types of muffin pans
two different size roasters
pizza pan
2 different size glass measuring cups
angel food pan
Don't forget that this is all for one person. I purchased many items at the thift store when I started cooking with the microwave. Yes, I know it is alot, but I don't even remember how old many of the items are. Won't even get started with all the different types of gadgets I have. There I could get really crazy but keep on telling myself I have no more room. lol

At my last house I had one room that was set up with wall to wall shelving for my kitchen tools. 75% of my packing time was spent in that room and the kitchen.
Cooking has always been something I enjoyed doing. I would much rather spend a day in the kitchen than anywhere else.

I went through a few years ago and threw out a lot that was junky and we didn't use.
I have:
12" cast iron skillet
2 qt teakettle
1 qt sauce pan
2 qt sauce pan
large non stick skillet/wok
stock pot
2 cookie sheets
2 6 cup muffin tins
1 pie plate
2 large casseroles
1 small casserole
loaf pan
popover pan
a handful of misc small pyrex/fire king casserole type bakeware
I also have 3 sets of measuring cups plus two glass ones because when I get baking or cooking I hate having to stop and wash stuff between recipes. I have doubles or triples of things like spatulae, spoons, carving forks, whisks, etc for the same reason. Plus it takes us about 3 days to fill the dishwasher so I need enough to get me by for a few days.Use it up, Wear it out,

I just have a little bit more than you do SS. I think 'storing it' slowed me down.
I do have canning equip but I don't count that.
What I have a TON of - and not sure how it came about - are KNIVES!!! I have a whole drawer that is almost all knives. It has some spatulas, and beaters for the mixer in there but the rest of it is ALL KNIVES!! I keep saying I am going to go through it but haven't gotten there yet........

I was, but I'm getting better.
I sent a couple of things with each of my sons as they moved out into their own places. Usually a saucepan + skillet. Also a couple of utensils.
But I have Thanksgiving for 25 usually, so I need every bit of what I have left.______

Every pot, pan, baking dish is used regularly. I do NOT allow myself to buy any new unless something is wrong with one of my old ones and it MUST be discarded.
I have a cheap tiny little pot that was my mom's. There is nothing wrong with it, but I NEVER use it. It isn't worth trying to sell and I can't just throw it away!Mary

I seem to be around the same as everyone here. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and I am going to weed out some things as the kitchen get finished and I can put things away in thier new homes.
I gave away a bunch of things to my ds when he moved out. He is back home from college and brought it all back. We put in the attic and he can take with him again or we will get rid of at a garage sale or donate it.Married 22 years to Mark

Hmm. I'm at work, but let's see what I remember:
Used constantly:
small and large saucepan
"normal" skillet
deep stir fry skillet
2 shallow skillets, small and medium
4 qt pot (I love this one, bought it special from open stock)
6 qt pot
12x12 "jelly roll" type pan with broiler inset (came with toaster oven)
Used occasionally:
small and medium round pyrex casseroles
9x13 pyrex
9x13 stainless steel cake pan
stainless steel jelly roll type, 9x13 or a little larger
8" square stainless steel cake pan
I gave away my muffin tins because I despise washing them.
If I very very occasionally have something really large to roast, I'll pick up a disposable roaster.
No jello molds. I love my scrounged disposable plastic punch cups left over from a work party - they are great for single serve jello and fruit, used over and over again.Donna
