what condiments are in your fridge right now....
so what condiments do you have open (or un-open) taking up space on your fridge door and tucked back into the dark recesses of the fridge....
here's mine:
A1, heinz & country bob's steak sauces
bbq sauce
ketchup, mustard, relish (plus another lg mustard 'refill' size)
rasp jelly
2 pancake syrups (not a normal thing...screw-up)
2 cocktail sauces (i have NO idea why we don't even use it)
italian salad dressing
2 ranch salad dressings (inherited an open one)
blue cheese dressing (a screw up...it looked like ranch)
grated parm cheese
can of hershey's choco syrup (for dh's ice cream)
2 jars old-english cheese spreads (only 1 open though)
2 small tubs butter (comes in pkg's of 2)
i normally have mayo too but we used it up the other day
and also soy sauce but we are using up tons of packets right now
so not too bad other than the cocktail sauce, which i just can't bring myself to throw away...they must have been left here by others
... i'll find a home for them somewhere, somehow....Last edited by sabrelvssammy; 02-06-2010 at 11:32 AM.

I am the Queen of Condiments. I have so many that I don't remember what they are, but I do know what most of them are:
Bread and butter + dill pickles
Sweet green relish
Ketchup
Mustard (yellow, dijon, grain, horseradish dijon and honey)
BBQ Sauce (about four different varieties)
Hoisin sauce
Soy Sauce
Teriyaki Sauce
Caesar dressing
Coleslaw dressing
Mayonnaise
Miracle Whip
Hot banana peppers
Parmesan cheese
Sriracha hot chili sauce (my favorite one)
Spicy chipotle dressing/dipping sauce
I can't imagine what else I have, but my fridge is basically filled with three types of things and the condiments overflow into the other two types.

mustard
sweet relish
dill pickles
ketchup
thousand island dressing
almost empty jar of Miracle Whip.
(I have a recipe for homemade Miracle Whip
and I am going to try it this weekend before
I buy some more.)You have succeeded in life when all you really want is only what you really need.

Do I ever know about the condiment overflow. DH always ask why the fridge is full but there is nothing for a meal. We like different condiments so-------. There is ketchup for him, several kinds of mustard for me. I don't like ketchup,he doesn't like mustard. He likes American cheese,I like cheese------American being low on my list. There is an opened bottle of red wine,a bottle of layered coffee liquer, and a bottle of bottle of cream sherry in the door along with my sour dough starter. Then there is always his French salad dressing along with whatever strikes my fancy at the time----not French.
Lest you think DH is a picky eater, he is not. He just thinks meat deserves A1 sauce or ketchup, lamb deserves mint jelly, and any kind of sandwhich except pb&j,gets American cheese. I put a stop to the mint jelly,I don't buy it anymore! LOL
There is a good sized container oF Chinese food condiments. If I pick up the order,I turn them down. DH collects them.
My fridge may be really be empty if all the condiments ran away!

This is what I thought too, however SS "encouraged" me it was time to take a look....haha! I wonder how much electric I wasted while standing there with the door open and making "the list"??????
Well here is "the list":
- Spray butter
- Mustard
- Steak Sauce
- Tarter Sauce
- BBQ sauce
- Italian dressing
- Ranch Dressing
- Mayo
- Slaw dressing
- Maple Syrup
- Peach & Strawberry Jelly
- Dill pickles--Which I had to eat a couple while taking inventory

- Hot Peppers-Rings
- Peperoncini
Things that will not be replaced (tried and don't like or don't need)
- Beef & Chicken broth base (prefer dry)
- Honey Mustard Dressing
- Pesto---debating if this is still OK??? Been in there a few months
- Pancake syrup
- Honey Mustard
I am trying to find homemade versions of the ranch dressings to avoid all the additives & sodium.
