Rant about neighbor
I am neighborly to all my neighbors but one. He is a hypocrite. He is my husbands age (43) but the kids called him the ogre of the neighborhood when they were little.
The snow plow has been down our street several times. We live in a court and a lot of the snow ends up piled in front of our front island, no big deal.
Well, Mr. Nice Guy goes out in his tractor to clear his driveway and dumps a lot of the snow in the middle of our driveway! I text my husband, who is working, and told him he better talk to him or I will.
The last time I spoke with my neighbor I told him we will agree to disagree. He complained about my kid's friends driving but jumped out from behind his bushes and started screaming at them. I took care of the friends speeding. Which was what he wanted and I totally understand. But then he started in with how he never did that. He forgot about the lowered down Ford Ranger he had and he used to fly up and down the street pulling up the e-brake, doing donuts in the court, and spinning tires out of his driveway throwing up gravel. When I reminded him of this he got very defensive.
Oh well, I guess it is just something I'll have to deal with. Now that my kids are grown up they call him The Creeper Next Door. He watches us through the bamboo and holly bushes. I did not know we were so interesting!Carrie, ravenmaniac - I love my Ravens!!!!

If it didn't take so much energy to shovel snow, I would say shovel it out of your driveway and dump it back on his and also his doorstep.

Seems like there is always one creeper in the neighborhood.

It's funny how that works, I really didn't notice it until you mentioned it...Our crotchety neighbors who hated dogs (we lived on one side with a collie/shephard mix...who was notorious for barking
and they had a retired couple with 3 small obnoxious dogs on the other side) had the same thing happen with their 3 children. They moved out ASAP after highschool. Two years later a terrier/schnauzer mix appeared in their yard... I'm not sure if it's out of boredom or what but we think its quite funny
The dog is just as nosey (sp? lol) as they are....

We have one too. The kids call her the "Crazy Underwear Lady". When she is not running around the yard in see through undies, she is hanging over the fence watching the kids (if she thinks I'm not watching) or watching out the upstairs window. This female is my age. No one my age needs to be out in their undies when the houses are this close.

When I was in high school we had a neighbor that looked and acted like Donna Reed when we first met her. She slowly went downhill. The side of her house faced the back of our house and when we were outside with the dogs in the back yard she would peek out of her living room window between the blinds. We also had cats and she would come over and claim that they got onto her deck out back and peed on it ruining the wood. She called the cops one day and complained about the cats. Then proceeded to demand that the cop make us find the cat. It was an outdoor cat and there was no telling where it was. She called the cops several times. After the first time they would just come and tell us she called and leave. Not doing anything because they knew she was nutty. A few years ago my mom saw her in the supermarket with her hubby. She was pushing a cart by herself with a bunch of ketchup in it. And her hubby was treating her like she was 5. My mom said she has mentaly gone downhill.

Oh, one other thing. This isn't about a nutty neighbor but we did live a few doors down from a serial killer. A man who worked at our ACME in town. My father spoke to him at the customer service desk on a weekly basis. Never would have guessed.

This is why I love the country. I can run around in the yard in my undies and noone can see me LOL!
I have only one "neighbor". That is one that lives on my little dirt lane. I have others out on the main road. Their house is about 1/4 mile down the dirt lane, at the end. Most of the year we can't see their house and they can't see ours. They are mean, nasty people. They have threatened to sue everyone in this county except us. They are truly not very bright so they try to make up for it by being nasty. He gets SS for a back injury that supposedly makes him unable to work. Yet he can ride his 4 wheeler at full speed across the fields here bouncing clear out of the seat over and over again, can go hunting, can work a farm. They have a son who is a high school dropout, who has a girlfriend that works and supports him, who was expelled from high school for a year for doing drugs at school. There is a lot of suspicious traffic in and out down there all the time and I honestly think they do/deal drugs. She works for the county so there is no need to call the cops on them. They breed german shepards that bark non-stop from dusk to dawn pretty much every single night.
They leave us alone though. I think my telling them I have a gun and am not afraid to use it put the fear of Sherri into them LOL.
I would shovel it back into his driveway each and every time he put it in mine until he learned his lesson! Or call the police. They will come and make him move it.S

I'd shovel it back in his driveway...AFTER I took a few good pictures of it in the BEFORE...just in case he calls the cops. Keep the camera ready for when he comes out and starts ranting and raving...better yet if it has sound and video.
Remember, you can't fix stupid.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Thanks for the support.
If you live or have lived in a neighborhood you seem to have a strange neighbor. I feel sorry for his 6 year-old son. They let his poker straight hair grow into a long page boy type hair cut. It flows in the wind when he rides his bike and I just want to cut it!
My husband has a friend who is going to plow our driveway and politely plow the snow into a nice pile between our driveways. I am sure he will be lurking behind his bushes watching.
Did I mention he installed a baby monitor camera above his front door that points to the street and he can see who goes by?Carrie, ravenmaniac - I love my Ravens!!!!

I don't know about where you live, but here...it's illegal to put snow from your property onto someone else's. The police would make him move it.
