I have a gluten free condensed soup recipe on the boards here. It's better than any can soup you'll get and far surpasses dried mixes.

It uses common ingredients around the house. If you need help finding it, click on my profile where it says Recipes and the recipe should be in that list.

Cream of mushroom soup is the easiest thing in the world to make.

Tomato soup is also very simple: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/m...ipe/index.html

contrary housewife -ur recipe's sounds yummy but his stomach couldn't handle heavy cream.. hes' on rice milk. and we tried for 1 week normal 2% milk and some cheese last week. major cramps and stopped his regular BM. poor fellow.
He was born with lactose intolerance but as he got older he was fine. But with this bacteria he just got over, he wont be on anything heavy fro awhile.
    Thank u anyways-much appreciated.

For the mushroom soup you can use more flour to thicken it, and top off with rice milk at the end.

For the tomato, you can use your rice milk in place of the cream, it will just be a little thinner consistency. I'm lactose intolerant, too, and I use Lactaid milk.

FYI, hard aged cheeses like parmesan and aged cheddar are either lactose-free or very very low in lactose,as it is consumed in the aging process. Your son might be able to eat those.

I found this site yesterday. It has many mix recipes,
    including cream soup.
