    Default Greetings From Central Indiana

    Great Grand Blessed Day !

    I have been a member for a good long time but lost my link and have just now found the site again ....

    My screen name is Aftermidnite and my given name is Terresa

    I am 52(for another month ) and the mother of one wonderful daughter who is 31..

    I have one pet ..a 9yr old "puppy" ..Bentley ...who is a chihuahua/Yorkie mix ..He thinks he is a BIG DOG and owns all he sees ...which can lead to some pretty funny adventures ...

    I am among the unemployed at this moment but am actively looking for a new adventure ..

    I have been divorced for 30.5 yrs ..
    For the last almost 4 yrs I have had a SO who is in full renal faliure due to poly cystic kidney disease ..this has been a journey and a test ..

    I have always been thrifty and frugal ..and both have helped me while raising my daughter and as I travel this life ..My thrift and frugality has come in handy when friends and neighbors have had a need ..in that I could help just where help was needed ...

    My mantra has always been..reuse ..recycle ..and reuse again ..

    I love yard sales and thrift stores ...
    I seldom buy any new clothes (other than under garments ..and I intend to try to make those this year) ..

    I am a crafter ..my interests are varied but my passion is trash to treasure ..I see objects in a different way than most ..and love to remake something into something else ..

    I "own" an online craft/chat board with about 130 members from all over the US and Canada ....We came together because of a love for crafting in many and varied mediums..and have developed into a "family" who share ..care.. pray if asked ..offer a shoulder if needed ..and even a virtual kick in the keister if needed to get out of a "slump" ..

    I intend to be an active member as time allows once I rejoin the work force ...

    Hi and welcome back from Ohio. I'm so sorry to hear about your SO's kidney disease. My husband has MS so I know what it is like to see someone you love suffer from a degenerative disease. Sending you a big hug!
