If you are getting this nasty weather......
please be careful! It is 8 degrees here right now with HOWLING winds. They are calling for gusts up to 65 mph for us. We have snow drifts everywhere in the yard and it's drifting up onto our back porch. Ds went out a few minutes ago to check on his dog because it looked like she was drifted in and the wind caught the storm door and actually ripped it from the frame!
If you have to be out please remember to bundle up and not be out long! And if you are driving be careful! If you have to shovel remember to take it slow and easy.......don't want any of you having heart attacks!S

we're good here. it's drifting here like crazy also. hubby has done one pass with the plow. I shoveled out to the rabbit hutch to feed and water then rabbit and then out to the gate and carport. Some cardio! The dogs are loving it silly creatures lol We're snug and cozy and the power is still on( woo-hoo!) It's blowing so much that you can't get an accurate reading on the amount already fallen. I'm ready to take a snuggly nap. Seems the right thing to do on a day like today.

We have huge drifts here in the backyard. And like you, it's hard to tell just how much we snow we did get. I'm guessing at 7-8 inches. I need to venture out to our rabbit pen and feed and water them. It's usually son's job but it's so cold and miserable that I think I might do it for him today.

Lots of snow out this way, about 12 inches last night and still coming down hard. No winds yet but they are coming in later today.
Both boys will help Dad shovel today, long U shape driveway. Good thing too, I don't like hubby out there shoveling at 50, makes me nervous.
Still have electric, but the winds haven't begun yet.
Stay warm and safe everyone!~~~

Sorry to state the obvious, but are you sure your bunnies are warm enough out there? Don't want frozen bun-buns!
Stay safe & warm, Sherri!
Yesterday was sooo cold but today we're getting a little reprieve with the sun shining brightly and I hear constant dripping from snow melting off the roof. There is a chance of more snow this weekend though.

LOL yes they are fine. They are made for the outdoors. They have a wooden and wire hutch, food and water. When the snow blows into their feeders they push it out with their noses.
My cat has a wooden box on the front porch out of the wind with a nice comfy flannel blanket in it.
And the dogs have big wooden doghouses with straw in them.
Now if us humans just weren't stuck we'd be great LOL. I'm about to go stir crazy! With the way the drifts are piling up we may not get out of here for a month! I was really looking forward to going prom dress shopping Friday too!S
