Snow and Ice anyone????
See this woodpile? It's about seven feet tall. That's a snowdrift in front of it!

I've been cooped up for so long that I didn't know what day of the week it was this morning LOL. My kids have had school ONE day in the last two weeks. And they went two hours late that day. And dh has been home sick all week so I'm all mixed up.
We were supposed to go prom dress shopping tomorrow but I am positive that our little dirt lane and probably the paved one lane are drifted shut.S

Lived in Ohio until we moved here. Don't miss the snow at all.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

In north Lousiana it's snowing now, Tigergirl. They're saying 2 inches accumulation by tomorrow night, which is pretty impressive for us. Ok, it's not as impressive as the woodpile drift but for LA, pretty good.
It's even the best of both worlds. Pretty to look at but not awful - I just read the winter weather advisory and they expect the road to remain "wet or slushy" the whole time, which is what I expected. High 33, low 32. Wild temp swing, huh? I'm glad of that. Mid-day driving is almost always ok, but when I get off at 11, sometimes it's chancey. Happily no bridges or overpasses between the circ desk and my bed.
I know you snowbound folks will be glad when it all goes away, but I feel for the people downstream. I hope it doesn't cause flooding for them.Donna

I ventured out today and took this one. I think snow drifts are so pretty! This one formed between our vehicles.
The other one is a drift that formed beside our truck. The picture doesn't do it justice. The back fin part is so thin and delicate that it's hard to imagine it can stand up like that!
Forgive me if I'm driving everyone nuts with the pics. I LOVE to take pictures of nature!S
