I have decided to start saving some water...when i empty a apple juice bottle that is made out of heavy plastic i will use it... This water will only be used for cooking and cleaning...How long after the expiration date on bottled water would it actually still be safe to drink...I have just started checking expiration dates....

Water does not expire. It may start tasting like plastic after a while, though. Sooner if it is stored someplace warm.
