Default Today i actually shut the heat off...

I opened the windows to let the sun shine in and shut of the heat.. I am so excited because this means spring is finally coming....and we missed all the snow that everyone else got...
We usually get lots of snow but It looks like less than 2 inches on the ground outside and it is melting today because it is above freezing.. the only thing i hate about melting snow is that the yard looks ugh....and i need to get out there to pick it up....

Would love to be able to turn the heat off. But it is sunny outside. Will probably open the windows just to get some fresh air inside.

Ugh. it's sleeting here and supposed to snow tomorrow...in south Louisiana.

Always said, snow in Louisiana (3rd time this year!) and the Saints win the Superbowl...everyone duck, apocalypse is upon us!

Beautiful sunny day here too. I'm sitting by the window and my face is burning.

Last week was the mid point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, I find this is usually the point when the weather turns.

I have both doors open... Not sunny or super warm, but it does feel nice to have fresh air in the house. Sorry to all those that are under a bunch of snow... Spring will be here before we know it.

Well we actually got some sun this afternoon. Had some snow flakes on and off this morning. This is the second week of we can't get over 32 degrees. It gets to 20 something in the day and low teens at night. And wind which just makes it feel all the colder when one goes outside.
Glad to have a nice wood pile so don't feel quilty about keeping it warm in here

it is and has been cold and snowy here also

i must admit, we have been sick for awhile so last week i did open all the windows (turned heat down to 55) and kept the windows open for about 45 minutes just to kind of air out the germs! and get fresh air! it was cold but i was the only one home and it did smell good!! love that fresh air smell.

the heat wont go totally off here til probably the end of may!

My heat didn't come on at all today. I'm overjoyed.

It's the mid of February and we usually get -35C weather here. With all of the bad weather out East, I think we're actually gonna have a normal Canadian winter for Calgary's standards.

I took the recycling outside in my t-shirt and jeans and it was beautiful! It's 2C outside right now, which is awesome.

Default Yes it is still 31 degrees fahrenheit

I didnt' actually open up my windows but the curtains to let the sun come in and heat the house up....I guess i kind of didn't write that....

However it is still 31 degrees out and that is really good for us... heat is still off and it is 68 degrees inside so i am hoping to leave it off for as long as possible...probably have to turn on before the kiddos get up in the am.....
