This is one joy of living alone. Any day I don't go to work can be a day like that if I want it to be. I'll admit, however, sometimes it seriously erodes the motivation.

I was really really tempted to do that today. My kids finally went back to school, on a regular schedule, so I had the whole day. But, I stuck to my schedule and did my chores instead. As a reward I sat down and watched an hour of tv then took a little nap......

~Well, except for the alone part I've had quite a few days like that over the last month. Between the morning sickness and pregnancy fatigue I've had to be rather sedentary for awhile. It makes me wish for my normal, crazy busy routine back.
I am wishing for some alone time though. I booked a weekend away at a women's retreat in a couple of weeks. I really need to get out of the house and away from my family for a couple of days. I'm starting to snap at everyone over the stupidest stuff. ~

I'd love to have a day like that but my dad is the equivalent of a small child except I have to listen to him and drive him places. I'm on his schedule vs him being on mine LOL

One day we'll all get a day to ourselves

I'd love a day like that. Too many in a row would push me over the "depression edge", but one day? That's be great!!
