Default I am having a bad day....

I feel like the whole world is against me today. I am stressed about money and bills and kids and dh's job, my job, etc, etc, etc. I can't seem to shake it off either. It doesn't help that they are calling for another snow storm tonight either. UGH! I can't take anymore snow.
I know I should be happy that all the bills are paid and we are making progress towards our debt reduction and savings but all I can focus on is how long it's taking. I want to be out of debt today!!!! LOL!

HELP: Anybody else having a bad day too? After all, misery loves company!

So, would be a bad day to tell you that your signature makes your post look fat?

If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

If misery loves company like you say then I'll stand by you.

I'm having a bad/rough day but it is basically my attitude.

1)Had a sick kids home yesterday and the day before (she wore me out and not to mention the doc visit $ and RX $) and all the extra laundry that I have to do now.
    2) teenagers and the Emotional rollercoster ride (that I haven't learned to ride or appreciate yet)
    3) I want a NAP, but can't take one because I have to wait here in the house and be available at the ring of the bell for the Fed X man because I have to sign for a package for Hubby.
    4) that time of the month and it is a long and rough one this time around.

    5) and now I'm wondering if my signature makes my post look fat

    Hugs to you

I do have my days & moments that I feel a complete meltdown it waiting just around the next corner. Often, we're working very hard toward a goal (money related or otherwise) & notice all the things that can throw us off track. It helps me to take a step back from whatever I'm focused on & notice other things. Simple things like nature or other blessings (my pets, friends & family). Sometimes, I just sit down for a moment & write a few lines about whatever is troubling me. I notice often it loses some of its importance once on paper. Occasional I can work something out (on paper) that helps... changing things around a little or something like that. Solutions aren't always there though, but things aren't cast in stone either. Besides, most of the things that we worry about, never happen.

As for the weather, its worn on me since the fall... way too much rain! I like to complain about it. Actually, its become a joke w/friends & they help me laugh about it. Laughing on an gray, overcast day even though it muddy & yucky out can bright my mood. Plus, another season is right around corner. Spring is usually wet & raining though.

There are days and weeks and....... that are like that. A friend of mine calls them "the depths of despair". I personally think that the weather can set the tone and may be hard to get past.

Perhaps we all need some Greebo time everyday - don't youj ust love his mouth? Or rather what comes out of it?

Hugs and aloha to you and everyone else who is having a rough time now. it does seem to be a burdensome time right now - and for all different reasons.

Take care - this will pass sometime I promise. Please get in some giggle therapy!!

It's okay to feel impatient about paying off debt. I only have a $350.00 debt right now and it is bugging me. But, look on the bright side, at least you have an emergency fund!! I am getting ready to buy a house with no emergency fund in place! If it doesn't pass inspection, I won't be able to get the house, or a house at all this year. I am only able to get the house thanks to Obama's tax break. If I have to live in this teeny, cold mobile home another year I may just go completely insane. Listening to the loud atv's and trucks every night is making it hard for me not to break the law since the police do nothing about it. Hey, that felt good. Thanks for letting me vent!

Bad days just seem to happen. All this snow has been making me stir crazy and I was feeling low. Getting out of house definately help to shake off the funk.

How about setting some time today to just sit down with a favorite beverage. Then take a deep breath and look around your home and remind yourself of all the things you do have and how far you have come to managing your debt. Remind yourself how sweet it will feel to be debt free and how focused you are now.

Since spring is on the way have you thought about planting a garden to help save money?

Ouu, this doesn't sound good. How much do you really think you're going to get back from an $8,000 tax credit? a couple of hundred bucks? How far do you think that money will take you?

Let me give you some friendly advice. You are not ready to buy a house.

I am a single mom, just bought my house this past summer and no I do not qualify for the tax credit. I put my 20% down and had about $4,000 to put into the house for things light paint, new light fixtures, new toilet etc. I just paid off my credit card debt and I can completely afford what I have. HOWEVER, I've struggled this year with paying for heating oil and any other small unexpected expense that comes up. I have money in investments but that is true EMERGENCY money and I will not use that unless its truely for survival.

If you have NO emergency fund, you are just not ready to own your own home.

I qualify for the entire tax credit. My mortgage broker has it all set up for me, plus the county is helping. I went through all the classes. The house is move-in ready. Doesn't need anything done to it right now. I am only putting 3.5% down. I went through FHA. I cannot rent as low as my mortgage is going to be, even WITH my taxes and insurance. Trust me, I am making the right move!

Just found out they laid 3000 more people off at DH's work and 250 at his "office" center. He is in Bermuda and just found out he is going to stay another week. Not sure if my day is good or bad but living it this state of constant rediness for doom in very exhaustive isn't it. I just keep "slogging along". Stockpile, pay off debt, put money away, repeat. Brainstorm for more out of the box ways to keep even (not ahead).

I bought my house and put all the money I had down on it with no emergency fund. Everybody's situation is different. My ds wants to buy a house this year also because of the tax credit; he also will use his savings account to put down on the house. If you are patient about what you want to do to the house and not go into great for doing things that are not necessities you will be alright.
Good luck to you; with the right attitude about this you'll be fine.

You also sound like you have a big reason for wanting to move; this will also be the motivator for making it work; even if you have to struggle

    Amen to that sister.

Sorry about your bad day. Hopefully it only lasts a day.

This whole month has been a bad day. The $2000 a month shortage is catching up with us. We're behind on a bunch of bills, the phones keep ringing with collection calls, one has 2 agencys on our butt.

So if misery loves company we're in it together. Hugs long distance.
