Default Is there something you've always wanted...

...but for whatever reason, never bought?

It doesn't have to be expensive.

It doesn't have to be a luxury.

Just something you've always wanted, but for one reason or another, never bought it?

For me, it is glass mixing bowls.

I have always wanted glass mixing bowls, like they use on the cooking shows.

I've never bought them for myself because I have a perfectly good set of metal mixing bowls that I inherited from my grandma. When I use them, I think of her. Still, I just want those glass mixing bowls.

Anything you've always wanted for no particular reason?

A really comfy rocking chair. I had an old one that my sister gave me at one point and I have my grandma's old one now. Problem is it's so old that the rockers are flat on the bottom and it doesn't rock, it thumps LOL. I want a really big, wide, comfy one that rocks really well.

For some reason I want a swimming pool. Nothing fancy, just a rectangular 4 1/2 ft. deep swimming pool. I know they can be expensive initially and so can the upkeep. But I have always wanted one.

I have always wanted a set of nice knives. I always end up with some that have been passed down. They do the job. I ask for a set every year at christmas and for my birthday but I never get them. I may buy myself a set this year. I dont know why I havent just bought them. Kind of strange.

A whole houseful of plants. I have had some, and have a couple of philodendrons in vases now, but I never got the interior jungle I would love. I still think about it, and still don't do it.

I'm not sure of the rectangular size; I have always had round; fit better in my yard. If you have someone put it in; that is quite expensive; heating it is also very expensive.

The upkeep isn't really that bad. I've had a pool all of my life. I've had one at my house for 30 years. I only put a gallon of chlorine in it every other day and run the filter for a couple of hours a day. If you go in it; it pretty much keeps itself clean; its when its rainy for a week and not used you have to vacuum it. Don't know if you were interested in all of this info BUT I LOVE MY POOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we have a built in pool. 3 - 10 ft. kids love it...

our filter and entire system runs all day, 24 7...from may til sept. our season is only a few mths. although i do have the filter on a timer to run from 6am - 9pm. hrs which we may swim.

heater runs may thru mid june than as needed and then again in sept til it gets closed.

we have a once a week service. we dont have the time to do it ourselves. some may say this is wrong, but, we know its not for us. they clean it, balance it, chemicalize it...etc. worth the $75 a week as our season is, once again, sooo short!

I have always wanted an Icenlandic pony or a nice Jersey milk cow but alas they are too expensive and I only have an acre...but it's okay to dream.
