As a walker and bus person I definately agree with you. So far I have been bundling myself up and going outside and walking around. It is to easy for me to get stir crazy from being inside all day.
WHEN IS SPRING?

I did get out today. Dh and ds shoveled our hill out. And that is no easy task since it's very long and steep. We made it out to the little town for some groceries. I'm on an eating/exercise program and needed fresh produce. Got some ground round on sale for 1.69 a pound and chicken thighs for .99 a pound. Should be set now for several days until I run out of produce again!

I feel your pain.
Mine plows snow for his job, and I hibernate when there is a snowstorm. Today though, I told him, we needed to go to town and he was going to take me. Stopped at the post office, then the regular grocery store, dollar store, and the gas station. Then home. He is now watching tv. And the 2 dogs are making sure he stays in his chair. They know his routine. None of us here like bad snowstorms.--------My signature--------

I have to be the dissenter. I LOVE snowstorms, as long as my family is all home and safe. I just want to be inside, with my family, snuggled up, reading, playing games, etc.
We lost power with this last storm, a few days ago, and even that was okay. We put on extra layers, played board games and just relaxed together. Granted, if we had been out of power for more than two days, I would NOT have been happy, but luckily, it was resolved before it got to that extreme.
So, I'm a homebody. Snow me in, I'm a happy girl.

Take heart, spring is coming. Here in north Louisiana, I got off work at 4 instead of 11. It's rare indeed for me to see the sun after work. But it was shining, I noticed the grass in the apartment courtyard had suddenly greened up over the last few days, and the world was full of birdsong. When I got home last night, there were some neighborhood cats noisily discussing making kittens (not quite as pleasant a welcome as the birds, I'll admit).
Spring hasn't gone forever. It's coming .... hang in there just a little longer!
PS. I hope this made you feel better, but I'm pretty sure it didn't.Donna

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind being stuck inside with my family a couple of times a winter in a snowstorm. BUT.......We have had snow on the ground every single day since Dec. 18. My kids have had school FIVE days the entire month of Feb. Dd only went three of those and ds only went four. When I say we are stuck, I mean STUCK! Drifted in so we can't get out. I have driven myself somewhere exactly THREE times this entire month.
This is way more than being stuck inside due to a winter snow. This is madness I tell ya, MADNESS!!!!!!!!S

There are some things I miss about Ohio but snow isn't one of them.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
