tsunami warning for real
They are predicting the tsunami will be hitting our coastlines around 11 AM. Evacuaction starts in an hour.
We are across the street from the ocean, so who knows if we will be affected. Why am I here? Nervous energy. Thankfully DH is on Kauai to help Mom out - she's at ocean level but a few blocks in. We don't usually get tsunamis from this direction so it is more interesting to see what is going to happen. Hilo was hit hard in 1960 and they will get hit first this time.
I'm off to finish packing up and then will head for the school.
Will report back later.Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I woke all the neighbors - only 1 of the 6 was aware that anything was going on. I am almost ready to head up to school. The first sirens just went off - all over the state - weird to be watching it on tv and hearing it here also.
Now if the people will just stay away from the coastline - that was in a big problem in 1960.
Mahalo for the good wishes.Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.
