Default I'm So Doing The Happy Dance!!!!!

I decided to pop into Goodwill today and I found the most wonderful decorating deals! I just had to dip into the home decor envelope.

For my dressing room/closet/sewing room that I'm planning on decorating in a French decor I found the most incredible French style lamp for $6.97. It is beyond fabulous, I'll need to rewire it and get a lampshade but it's so worth the effort.

For my youngest son's room that's in the process of getting a log cabin makeover I bought a wall clock that is nicer then any I've seen on the market today. My son could barely contain himself when he saw it. It was $6.97. I also found a twin size bedskirt still in it's package for $1.99!!!!

For the dining room that I'm in the process of turning into a butlers pantry I found two sets of brand new curtains from JcPennys for $12 total! Now I never would have picked this pattern new, but it is beautiful and for $12 to dress both windows I can not pass that up.

I also got my son a red and black check plaid Fedro (spelling?) He just was dying for it, it was so cheap, and he was being so good I just couldn't say no. Dipped into the clothing envelope.

I stopped in the food store and found Febreeze refills for the plug-ins on the clearance rack for $2 and 4 boxes of gluten free brownie mix for $1.89! Gluten free products will kill a grocery budget.

I then went to the dollar store and found bacon, expensive beef hot dogs (that at Wegmans are $7 a pound) Green giant pound and a half bags of brocolli florets, shoepeg corn and baby peas. Frozen blueberries, a giant bottle of ketchup and a box of sugar-free drink singles.

Today was a bumper crop kind of shopping day!

That's awesome! And kudos to you for being able to see the possibilities in something even when it isn't already in your home! That's usually my trickest part!
