Another shooting at our mall...scary...
This mall is just a few miles from our house...there was another shooting. Seems like crime just keeps going up and up. It's supposedly a gang-related shooting.
This is so scary. It used to be such a nice area of town. The bench they're talking about in the video is where my mom sits and waits for my dad when he gets his haircut (in the barbershop they also talk about in the video). Thankfully, they weren't there - though, they do go around that time of evening! Dh and I were just next door to the mall when this happened...

Scary indeed... Even in our dinky little town, out here in the middle of nowhere, we have problems like this. Our daughter is a school psychologist and I can't believe the problems young people have in her middle and high school, nor the kind of lives they live. It's such a horrible waste of humanity.

Glad your family is safe. This world can be such a cruel, sad place anymore!

Crime is every where. For some reason you can have very little crime and then a mini crime wave. I notice this where I live. Right now our deputies are dealing with a string of bank robberies.
Hopefully the police will catch the other person. It is awful to think you can not go to the mall to get a haircut.
I noticed at the mall that I meet my mom and sister at to have lunch or just walk around, kids are every where. They range in age from middle schoolers to 20. Just walking around in groups with no real purpose. Sometimes I wonder if any of them have a concealed weapon.
The mall we go to is in a "money" area. There are a lot of mall security, big deal, but I have noticed more county police patrolling inside the mall. I am sure they are paid by the mall for extra security.
I hope your town can come up with a solution to keep people from committing such horrific crimes in a very public place.Carrie, ravenmaniac - I love my Ravens!!!!

How scary and upsetting. Unfortunately seems to be happening more and more. Tension is high everywhere and seems to be escalating and contagious.
We all need to take care and be more aware of our surroundings. Prayers and aloha to you all.Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

If they would quit smacking them on the hand and do something after they catch them it might help. Ok, done, this is one subject that I, myself, wouldn't want to get started on cause I wouldn't shut up. BUT there is a cure for it, especially the repeaters....
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

IMHO - it all starts in the home and that makes it harder still for everyone. We all need to be accountable for our actions - hard lessons to learn but we owe it to ourselves, our children and our community.
