Today is just a wonderful day.......
The sun is shining, the temps are somewhat warm. The snow is melting (although I despise the mud it's leaving behind) and I can finally get to my clothesline again. I've been washing bedding and putting it out all morning. Can't wait to go to sleep tonight with bedding that smells like fresh country air and sunshine!
I have officially lost 10 pounds in the last two weeks. I feel SO much better and have so much energy. I still have a long way to go (at least 60 more pounds) but it's a great start!
Dd has been home sick with allergies the past two days. I told her she can get started on that mountain of college scholarship forms. She needed her class rank for one of them and when I called they told me she is ranked 10th in her class! She has moved up 5 spots since last summer! Whoo hoo for her! She still has 6 spots to move up to beat dear old Mom though LOL!
Funny how a little sunshine can make life so much happier!

Fantastic job on the weight loss! Keep up the good work.
It's nice to hear that everything is going so well for your family.

Congrats on your weight loss - that's terrific!! Tell your DD to put all her energy into beating her DM's classs ranking (or you'll hold it over her forever!!

Ok I guess I should have known it was too good to be true LOL. We just got our truck back from the repair shop. It cost us 383.00 to have it repaired. Dh drove it to the post office this morning and something else is wrong now. He took it back to the garage and they told him the coil pack is ruined because the antifreeze from the other repair(we had a leak) got all over it. So now we need another repair that will cost us at least 100.00!
I will NOT let this ruin my day however!S

Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be the totally, completely, utterly perfect day. I know you're glad of the sun.
We had rain here last night, but today and bright and sunny and it's supposed to get up to 70. Spring is here. I've opened up the apartment and I'm listening to the bird racket. It's a beautiful day.Donna

It's about 66 here. I have the doors and windows open too. We are supposed to get rain starting tomorrow and lasting through Sunday at least. We already have so much mud that it's a mess, can't imagine what 5 days of rain is going to do LOL.

We're supposed to have rain tomorrow afternoon too, but just for the day. I checked because I have a lot of cardboard packing to put out, and where we leave it, the apartment maintenance/do everything guys have to haul it up to the dumpster -- They do it every few days. An odd arrangement. So I try not to put it out when they won't have to deal with soggy stuff.

I think we sort of leaped over spring today. When I was leaving for work around 3:00, I thought it felt warmer than 70. It was actually 77. That's really too warm for this early in March. But it's a nice change.

I had dh get out the camping recliners today and we sat out on the porch for more than an hour. I actually sunburned my face a little LOL! It was HEAVEN!
We also grilled steaks which was a nice "springy" thing to do on a pretty evening!S
