What did you do today that made you smile?

Whether big or small what did you do today that brought a smile to your face?

Today I

I remembered to put earrings in (i always forget)
I drove home and cooked instead of stopping for take out
I emptied my dishwasher while dinner was cooking (dreaded chore)

This morning I called one of my best friends and talked to her. She always makes me laugh.

This evening I called her mom and dad and talked to them! They are some of my most favorite people and her mom always makes me giggle!

I gave everything to God that I'd been carrying on my way too small shoulders. He can do a far better job than I can anyway!

I used my coupons at JoAnn's to get some small gifts and used the money from our change jar to pay.

While out shopping, I bought some new plants for the shelf in front of my living room window, crashed exhausted in the recliner, and just sat, looking at the sun shining through their bright green leaves. They are wonderful.

Today I noticed my cat must have had a blast last night playing with her toys. They definately were not where they were when I went to bed.

I took care of one of my favorite residents today. I got to talk to some of my friends at work. I found out my closing on my house might be sooner than planned! I got some packing done.

I was watching a female Cardinal checking out an old Mockingbird nest in the little tree in the front yard.

She was so cute. She would get in the nest then out. She checked out the bottom and sides of it also. Guess she was taking notes on any renovations that she might want to do. (Where is Carter when you need him?)

After about 5 minutes of checking out the nest she just looked my way with a puzzled look, then she took off.

Guess it was going to be too much work. Cute!

Yesterday I had taken practically everything out of my office, cleaned & purged, rearranged the layout, and put everything back. Today I just sat here all day and smiled and enjoyed my "new" office.
