    In 5 years, God willing;

*will have all our debt and second mortgage paid off.

*Hopefully have been paying down our 1st mortgage by sending in double payments.

*have a new 4 legged (Chow) family member.

*have gotten to a good place with my weight with blood sugar control & blood pressure.

being 5 yrs closer to a 10 year 'plan'....

--stockpiling as much as possible for retirement in 5 years time...(money...not stuff...lol)
--the on-going continued 'downsizing' of possessions and baggage that i do not intend to carry into my 'later years'....
--nothing terribly exciting happening yet...just the continued 'learning process' of how i intend to spend the 2nd half of my life the way 'I' want to live it....

--then between years 5-10 the gradual sell-off of the rentals which will bring me to the implementation of my 'retirement self' at year 10....which will consist of living in foreign countries and becoming absorbed in whatever local culture i may find myself in at that time....

    well...that's the goal today anyway.....

Loved the question, Linus, and even more, loved the small print/disclaimer!!

I'm in my early 60s, so the next five years could see my health changing. My goal is to stay as healthy and active as possible.

I'm retired, but still teaching as an adjunct at the local college. I plan to do this for one more year, and then begin Social Security. I love teaching, but it does interfere with my love of travel!! So I hope in 5 years to be doing much more traveling.

This is on a sad side, but more than likely in 5 years, I will be bidding farewell to my parents, although I'll see them again in heaven.

I hope to still be debt free, and hope to declutter a bit more, which might add some to my monetary funds.

I hope to be able to do much more writing after my final retirement.

I hope to watch my grandchildren begin to enter their teens and enjoy being with them and seeing their activities.

I hope to be even more in love with my hubby, and to be an even stronger Christian.

Ah, yes. Looking forward to the next 5 years!!!
    Spiritual:

    Financial:
Debt free, hoping to stay that way!

    3. Lose weight. Hopefully 5# this year. (9.5 pounds right now! Yay, Me!!)
    4. Continue to be looking for how God wants to use me this year.
