Self Accountability: Where will you be in 5 years from now?
We are all at different stages in our lives, some in their 20's just starting out, some in midlife just figuring it out, some retired and loving life. I'm not sure what the future holds for me at this point or where I'm going exactly. So tell us where do you plan to be in your life in 5 yrs. What are your goals or dreams or expectations of yourself and your life for the next 5 yrs. (include both frugal and non-frugal related goals where possible/needed)
Hrmm... Let's see (see fine print)***
1. Finally have a driver's license
2. Be on my way to get US Citizenship
3. Bought a house with K (hopefully in either Oregon, Washington State or B.C.)
4. Gotten a Golden Retriever of my own
5. Debt free except for house and car
6. Built up a 6 month EF reserve
7. Still at same company but perhaps a manager by this point.
8. Biked from San Fran to L.A.
9. Biked from Vancouver to L.A.
10. Biked from L.A. to Mexico (where exactly is still up for grabs).

I try not to make long term plans because they usually fall apart. I hope to still be alive in five years, in less debt and happy.

It would be nice if I could be fully retired in five years' time. I would like to have a lifestyle that consumes less and is more self-sufficient in energy, food, and other resources.
I still plan to be living in the same house, and to remain debt-free.

This is awesome. So many great ideas, dreams and desires. Remember to never give up on them, even if you have to adjust the timeline for them now and again.

In 5 years I'll be 26.. Feels weird to say haha. But none the less I hope to;
-Have a house/farm, maybe own land for a small cottage as well.
-Get married to my wonderful boyfriend
-Have more animals
-Be cc debt free, and not even have a credit card
-Have my AZ license
-Be more self sufficient
-Start my own business
That's about it. Here's to hoping.

I don't have a plan for 5 years from now, and want to keep all options open. Our kids will be graduating from college by then, and we're waiting to see where they'll settle before we make any plans. No big changes planned or wanted the next 5 years.
