so annoying yet so common.
i read labels like a crazywoman so if its something i usually buy i know.
i also loathe when they package something in a HUGE package and the net weight/contents of it is the same or LESS than a competitively or lower priced item (Wal Mart brand does this a lot....)

Interesting...its true though, I don't drink a lot of juice b/c its frowned upon....all sugar w/o any fibre to help slow down the sugar absorption in my body. (was responding on some of the comments people left on that site)
The odd time I do buy juice, its frozen and from concentrate and 100% juice only, no sugar added. Its still under a buck for a can an it makes 3-4 cans more...have yet to find a better bargain.2012: The Year Of The Purge!

I'm in FL for crying out loud and the price of that stuff never gets much below $3.00 a carton. I haven't bought it since I've been here. Now it looks like it'll probably be staying that way....
On a side note; I'm going to be buying a dwarf valencia orange "tree" and a dwarf meyer lemon tree for my patio. To heck with the packaged stuff.

druthb00: Exactly!
I live in FL too, and never buy the carton or canned stuff. I have an orange tree in my backyard that produces very very well. We often give away the oranges for free.
I'll tell you though, we've had people say 'no thank you' to free oranges because they don't like oranges, only orange juice...and they apparently can't figure out how the two might relate!Cedar’s Challenges

~Drives me crazy! Don't go smaller, just charge more! Very deceptive and I'm incredibly irked by all these 1.5 or 1.75 quart things now(huge pet peeve with even numbers). I still say half a gallon of ice cream even though they stopped selling it in that size a long time ago.
At least they're keeping the gallon a gallon.~~Constance
