Hope they catch the squirrel soon. Had one running around in the rafters when I first moved to this apartment. Luckily they fixed whatever hole it was coming in. The cat found it very interesting though.

Did you see it or just hear it. They chew and can cause fires. Could be a raccoon too. Loud music in the attic sometimes makes them leave.

I just got this tip from one of my Yahoo groups. I'm gonna try it. I have had my own share of squirrels in my attic.

TIP OF THE MONTH. Purchase a canister of tennis balls and a bottle of ordinary household ammonia. Fill the canister with ammonia and soak the tennis balls for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the balls and toss them under your house (or into the attic). The smell will greatly discourage rodents from entering your space. After 24 hours, check the perimeter for access points and seal the pests out! This worked amazingly well for me and my neighbor for a total cost of $5. Anna S., Washington

Easy and cheap! Hope it really works. It does makes sense though that it would.

i am going to blair music on the third floor once everyone is out of the house today! then, I am going to blair music right at my closet door! i will report back.

i wonder if i soak the tennis balls in amonia and put them in the closet if it will work?
