    STUNNING!! Love the dark woods!! Those chairs are beautiful, what an amazing job.

    Thanks, everyone!

    The floors were put in by my hubby and oldest son. They are a snap and lock type and oak. (Home Depot). The hanging light is also from Home Depot and my hubby hung that, too. The rug is one that we bought in 1987 at an estate sale soon after we got married. We hadn't used it in years because we had carpet, but I loved that rug and wanted to use it if we ever had hardwood floors again. The moths did a little damage to it over the years and it's had paint spilled on it from my daughter doing her art work...
    Hubby made four of the chairs in high school, and I think he is just very talented in that department, I sure don't remember guys doing that in our high school shop class!
    Plants are from Aldis and Home Depot, and Minnie Mouse is from the Animal Humane Society ...

    I can't believe how much I love that room now!

    Short term goals:
    - $2,000: to set up my consulting business. DONE! INVESTED ANOTHER $5000!
    - $4,000: down payment gift to daughter to bring her down payment on a house to 20% and avoid PMI. ON HOLD.... her offer wasn't accepted...
    - $1,500: pay off Student loan ALMOST THERE!
    - $1,200: pay off credit card (was disputing with creditor (ALL PREDATORY FEES charged on ZERO BALANCE), but I'm giving up the fight to make this go away...) PUT OFF till June/July
    - $11,600: Pay off Cornerstone car loan by end of May 2011 DONE
    - Complete tax returns by February 15th DONE




    Long term goals:
    Continue to follow a modified Dave Ramsey plan to pay off debt. Progress has been made, but there is much to do...
