A new food recall

This time it is HVP seems to be found in something people might have in their pantry or stockpile and includes many different types of foods. Including:

Bouillon Products
Dressing and Dressing Mix Products
Flavoring Base and Seasoning Products
Frozen Food Products
Gravy Mix Products
Prepared Salad Products
Ready-to-Eat Meal Products
Sauce and Marinade Mix Products
Snack and Snack Mix Products
Soup/Soup Mix and Dip/Dip Mix Products
Spread Products
Stuffing Products

Recall: Products Containing Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein

I heard about this the first time it came out. DH asked me if we had any of the products, but I told him I wasn't sure. I didn't look at the product listing.

Here's the Canadian listing for those who don't get the same products as the US does:

Whew, thank goodness I don't have any of this stuff. These types of recalls always make me so scared!

Another reason to avoid prepackaged items and make your own!

Thanks for posting this. I have the bouillon they have listed--just need to see if it's from the lots they mention, though I'm tempted to toss it even if it's not.
