    1) I would pee my pants if I saw something like that.

    2) Maybe I'm jaded, but that specific photo looks very photoshopped to me.

    How beautiful. It looks like it just came out of its cocoon.

    I've never been afraid of bugs. Even the king-size ones I grew up with as a child in Hawaii. I should've been an entomologist.

    Edit: Thanks for the youtube video Gabe - that was cool! They have the giant centipedes and the spiked spiders in Hawaii - the first and second bugs in the video - I wasn't afraid of them but I wouldn't handle them as a child because I was told they were poisonous and I didn't wanna get bit. I would love to handle some of those giant beetles. They are cool.
    “When you get to the end of all the light you know
    and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
    faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
    you will be given something solid to stand on,
    or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller

    “Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
    there are signs that the world is speedily
    coming to an end;
    bribery and corruption are common; children no
    longer obey their parents;
    every man wants to write a book and the
    end of the world is evidently approaching.”
    — From a translation of an inscription on
    an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.

    courage to change the things I can,
    and the wisdom to know the difference

    I think if i ran across something that big, it might ruin my appreciation for butterflies(yes, it's a moth, I know, i know). It is beautiful, but it would scare me. I think the biggest we have here is maybe a 2" wing span..lol

    Last night the cat was really fascinated with bug in the room. Wonder what would happen with this. lol Personally I would be a little freaked to see something like this. It is pretty though.
