I'm sure CNN will have a breakdown of what's in there. I'm curious what it will do with tort reform.

I am curious if one has health insurance currently, how does one prove that to the government ? I don't want to see any paperwork in the mail, saying *show proof, etc *
And what about people that are on a fixed budget and how are they going to fit insurance in, if they don't have it currently.
Sad to say, I just see a lot of problems ahead.--------My signature--------

I just hope my bil on unemployment gets some kind of healthcare. He is having really serious health problems and can't afford a doctor visit (even on a sliding scale) or medication. We may ask the whole family to pitch in for a doctors visit.....Don't know what else to do.
The whole health care reform is confusing. I need a simple explanation too.Truck paid off 12/07(paid in full)
Van paid off 2/09
Orthodontist(paid in full 2/09)
Furniture paid in full 7/10
cc#1 $700 Paid In Full
cc#2 $1000 Paid In Full
cc#3 $2400 paid in full
cc#4 $6337 paid in full
cc#5 $1500 paid in full
Coupon savings: Jan 2011 $200
Feb 2011 $100
Emergency Fund $1000
Vacation Fund $1500

Unbiased opinion
No sweetie not that it makes any difference now as the house passed the bill yesterday , but I think there are only two camps on this one either you are for it or against it there is no middle ,my complaint with it is that I really do not think it is about health care at all , it is really just one of many ways we are being led into socialism and the nanny state our freedoms and rights being encroached upon more and more by the government , but as I said there is no such thing as an unbiased opinion on this one !

If you wanting to know what it means for you. There are several articles that state a bit about what it means if you. SOme question and answer sites sort of thing.
I saw a link to the actual bill but that isn't in "plain english"
One thing thing I gathered for then "reports" on what it means to "me" is that it "should not affect us much right now" as the effective days are still years out. I remember seeing something about 2014 for at least some of the things.
I'm sure we will know more on "a need to know basis" at least I hope."Everyday as your walking down the street, everybody that you met has an original point of view" -Arthur PBS

In answer to the OP's question - YES, there is. It's called the Constitution, and it nowhere mentions healthcare or any government provision thereof.
And in related news, it also omits any mention of a mandatory (or otherwise) government-run education system.

I hope you're not serious!
Democrats=Democraps
Republicans=Stupid Party for being so weak, etc.
That's my take on the issue. I hope you get the "change" you wanted when your taxes go up to Jimmy Carter era levels to pay for your neighbor's healthcare. Have fun with that! The only problem is you're bringing the rest of us down too. All hail the Socialist States of America!
Yeah, this might have to get closed down 'cause after "cute" little remarks like lparkers, the opposing side might have to come out and respond back.
