    Default I love Alice shopping.

As some of you know Alice.com is a web site that you can shop for your home, personal, food and much more (even stamps) with UPS free shipping. I even noticed that they use the same "Sunday coupons" for discounts for which this means many things for me. One: I don't have to buy the newspaper for the coupons. Two: Saves me from running store to store. Three: I don't even have to go to town (which is 20 miles one way) Four: I have more time to run my house more efficient. Five: I can shop at home in my PJ's with my morning coffee. The rest you can fill in. Check out Alice for yourself but for me and my family this works. This may not work for you and I hope it does but with gas prices going up over $3.00 a gallon it is the right thing for me.

I checked out the site some time ago, but found that the prices were substantially higher than we pay locally. But I know that others find them about the same or cheaper. I wish they were for me - I hate shopping.

I found if you watch the sales it pays off. I know some people say it is more expensive VS. being cheaper. I gues I am just luckey that it is cheaper for me. I know that I only go into town to shop once a month VS every week.

It doubtless has a lot to do with where we live. When I visit friends in Maryland I always suffer acute sticker shock in the grocery store. I see you are in NY. Cost of living is much less here in Louisiana.

This is really great and can save on gas money! The prices ARE cheaper than grocery stores around here. DH has to have a specific type of deodorant or he gets irritated. They have it for $2.90. Walmart is $3.99 I think! They also had a 10 pack of Schick disposable razors on sale for .89 cents!! That is a great buy if you ask me! I use herbal essences shampoo and am out..its usually around $2.50-$3 at walmart. I just ordered it for $2.47 so pretty much the same price but I don't need to drive anywhere to get it which is a bonus for me! I also ordered TP because we will be out in about 3 days. Cottonelle 4 pack for $1.41. We usually buy Scott 4 pack for $3.80 so we will see how this stuff works...

I am happy! And I also like it because I only buy what I need! I took my 'list' from the fridge and just ordered everything I needed for $14, free shipping and saved $6 with coupons!

When I order from them it takes four days for it to get here so plan ahead. Also remember if are not going to be home durning the day have the UPS drop it off where you work if you can.

I was disappointed because I've heard really good things about them.

~I checked them out last year. Definately more expensive than local prices. And I found the site very overwhelming. Apparantly we use very few home and body products. I couldn't believe all the things I didn't know existed that they were prompting me to purchase. I do way better just stocking up a bit on what we like when there are good sales.~

Where do you shop in SJ? Because most of these prices were cheaper than what I find in SJ!

I've been buying from it since last fall and it's saved me money just from keeping me out of the stores.I always see something I think I need that I would never know I needed if I hadn't went in the store.Alot of the things I've got are cheaper than the Dollar General here.
