Default I am so looking forward to Sunday

However before it is Sunday I have SOOOOO much to do.

Dh has to go to Harrisburg Pa. to take part in a training program and he has surprised me with an e-ticket so that I can go with him.
Normally he wouldn't do this but he knows that one of my dearest friends lives there as do her parents (who I absolutely adore).

Well we are flying this Sat. (I am dreading this because I am pertrified of flying - but I do it anyway).

I called my girlfriend yesterday evening to make some plans.

She will be picking us up on Sunday morning, then going to her parents to pick them up and then we are going to the area where some of the Amish people live. I have been there before but dh wasn't with me on that trip (it was 15 years ago and someone had to take care of the kiddos, LOL).

She told me that there are some amazing outlet stores around there now.
(She also told that there was an Yankee Candle outlet too - now that is going to be my downfall.)

However before we fly on Sat. morning (leave the house at 7 am). I have three days of school, lessons to prepare for the day that I fly back (which I can't do before I have been to that class this Thursday), cleaning the house, billions of groceries to get in the house, pack, go to a birthday lunch with my dearest Dutch friend, go to the cash and carry and also get stuff to take with me to the US for my friend and her parents (dish cloths - yup you read that right - syrup wafers, chocolate sprinkles, licorice and other Dutch goodies).
I just don't see it all happening. I'll be exhausted by the time I get on the plane which maybe a good thing.

I am very excited about seeing them again (it's been 9 years since I saw them all last - they stayed here for a few days in 2001 - we had so much fun).

Oh, that's wonderful of him! My Mom's family is from the Harrisburg area and it is such beautiful land. That is too amazing what your husband did. Have a safe trip and remember with those candles.... they are heavy to carry back.

I know. We had problems with that last year.
They will be going into hand luggage as much as possible this time.

Trouble is of course that we will be visiting the outlet and the price should be very good (from what she told me) so I will really have to contain myself. I also have coupons (what good FV'er doesn't, LOL) so they will be even cheaper.
The good thing is we are allowed 23 kgs. each, plus hand luggage and we are only going 5 days, so we should have enough room/weight left over.
    Oh my goodness, what temptation!

Dutchie! Have fun on your last minute mini break! That was very kind of DH. Don't hate me for saying this but if you've got saved up $, *hangs head in shame* you can always ship yourself your goodies home LOL. Just ask your friend to help you at the post office and be sure to pack them well so they don't arrive in pieces. Carrying candles takes up more of the suitcase weight allowance then you'd think
