Default Any Duggar Fans Out There?

I love this family, and their show. I know they take a lot of criticism for their views, but they seem to be raising some the most well-behaved, socially conscious kids I've seen. And they don't look outside their family for financial support, so who really has a right to criticize them?

    Any thoughts?

I enjoy them, but ignore all the Jesus stuff. I think in light of her most recent pregnancy that it's time to stop tho. I found the marriage of their oldest son hilarious, but hey, maybe it'll work.
I do like that they take care of each other, and that they are raising responsible children, and that they put family first.

Oh the whole I like them, Im just a LOT more liberal.

I love them! I don't get to see them much on TV as we do not have cable. It is nice that they get to work for what they want and don't make excuses. It is nice to see parents put a work ethic and values into children instead of the gimme gimmes.

I watch them occasionally. I just don't understand the need for so many kids! I have three and I don't feel that I spend enough time with them.

Their values don't necessarily match mine, so I watch once in a while and not the whole show. Maybe I missed something.

I enjoy the show, but I think the parents rely too much on the older girls. What happens when they get married and leave? They have very respectful children. I agree with Mom 23, I have 3 also, I feel stretched to the limit some days!

I like them! I watch their show and while I think some of the things they do are a little strange I'm really glad that I live in a country where they can do what they want. As long as they are taking care of their own kids and not depending on public assistance I think they should have as many kids as they want!

I love them! They are living what they believe the Bible tell them to do. The Bible says that happy is the man (woman too) who house is full of them. They seem happy and they are raising them just fine.

Some may not believe what the Bible says, but they do and so do I.

The who? Never heard of em
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I don't have TV, so don't watch their show... But, I've watched them on news specials (online) over the years and they seem like a really nice family. They take *no* government support; still pay taxes, but home-school their kids; contribute to the community. Sounds like a fantastic family to me...regardless of the size. Honest and hard working...and raising their kids that way! More power to 'em!

I love watching the Duggars with my daughter. It's a tough call - they are a well mannered family but I do believe the older girls are not given enough freedom after their chores to meet a mate for themselves.
I do like how the younger children are like normal kids and are not super controlled.
I think the 19th child Josie should be there last - it was a sign that they have enough to work with.
I think Michelle is a really nice woman.
What do you think Daughter of Pearl?

My daughter loves their show. We haven't missed an episode (or special yet -At least that I know of)

One day while watching the show Joy-Anna was wearing the exact same outfit my daughter was wearing that day. Down to the same colors and everything. I think that endeared Joy Anna to my daughter's heart.

Ok, I'll be the first. I don't like them. I understand why they have a house full of children (aka a "quiverful), I'm just not on board.

Something about them really grates me the wrong way.

But, thankfully, we are all free to make our own life decisions. I respect theirs. I just would rather it doesn't make it way into my living room. So I don't ever watch them.
