Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

if you can't grasp the 'singular effort'...how about the 'collective one'....
every SINGLE person's effort (no matter how SMALL) does make a difference....and when people can finally grasp that maybe we can make a BIGGER difference....
all your frugaler's....think about in 'money terms'....how is throwing a dollar at your debt here and there ever going to make a difference in the $1000 balance...???
snowflakes my friends...snowflakes.....
here's to lights out......

We did it. DD wants to do it 3 times a week, so I think we can manage that.

We did it last year and this year. With 3 teenage boys that are addicted to video games and being teenagers they think they are the center of the universe it was definitely fun trying to convince them last year. This year they were excited about it. We lit candles and played board games and the oldest went out for a walk with his girlfriend.
They actually want to do it at least once a month they said. Sounds great to me.

Btw, a great electricity savor is unplugging all those electronic devices that aren't in use. Even when plugged they use electricity!
