    Default Just out of curiosity, what does your gasoline cost

    How much does your gasoline cost at the moment.

    Ours has risen dramatically in the last month or so.

    I have done the calculations and it is around $7.66 per gallon.

    We are 'usually' one of the highest 'mainland' states due to our highest in the nation gasoline tax.........it was $3.08 at some stations --though I think if you really looked you 'might' be able to find it for just under $3.

    When the difference gets big enough I go to Idaho to get it. Make a day of it and do some shopping too......only 6% sales tax over there too.

    Ours has been at $2.69 per gallon for several weeks now. Fortunately, we have one car that gets 35 m.p.g., because out here in the middle of "nowhere" you have to drive a long way to get "anywhere" and driving is a way of life.

    “When you get to the end of all the light you know
    and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,

    or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller

    “Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
    there are signs that the world is speedily

    bribery and corruption are common; children no

    every man wants to write a book and the
    end of the world is evidently approaching.”
