What brought you joy today?
I have a friend who always tweets about things that bring her joy each day, even if it's a little thing. And it made me wonder: what little things in the day bring you joy? a cup of coffee after a long night? a cat's purr? a good meal? a smile when you least expect it?
My moment of joy today: just sitting back at the end of class, hearing a student saying that they finally got what I had been explaining for the last 2 hours.

I like these kind of questions!
My DH went back to work today which is joyful in and of itself but what really made my day was my friend's Siberian Husky at the dog park. The dog is very vocal like most huskies and when I came into the park she "talked" to me for about 5 or 6 minutes. I figured she was telling me that she was glad that I didn't have that big guy (my DH) with me because she's a little afraid of him, LOL!Nancy

What a sunny question for a cold, gray day!!
Waking up brought me joy today
We have slowly been decorating our very small "master" bedroom - it used to be DS's room when he was a baby, and still has Winnie the Pooh Blue walls, plus cracked plaster, old light fixture...
We've been patching and painting (buttery apple green and white trim), and last week for the holiday got new bedding - apple green, colonial blue, and gold. Now that the room is more than halfway there, I woke up and looked around and just felt so happy!
I've moved my laptop in here (onto the bed, there's no room for any other "real" furniture!) and I'm spending the day right in this spot. My homeschooled son thinks its like having a camp day!- Elizabeth
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start,
anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.

When I wake up in the morning my cat usually comes over to say hello.
After my walk my other cat is ready to say hello.
Today was at the mall and came across some really good clearance sales. Will put one of the shirts away for x-mas time.

Our kitty Daisy is really enjoying her new outdoor world where everything is amazing and running freely at top speed has her euphoric.

Receiving forms for a new work visa to stay in the US and --- perhaps? -- go for a green card and then maybe citizenship.
Paying off more debt and actually since a real light at the end of the tunnel.

I've been really struggling with lonliness. I forced myself to make a phone call this morning to the mom of one of my kids' friends. I invited the kids and the mom over to play/chat on Friday. During our phone call, she started telling me about her friends coupon blog?!?!?! I said "Wait! Do you know that about me? (that I am a couponer) - she didn't, of course. Before you know it, we were talking a mile a minute on the phone (for about an hour!) about our coupons boxes, the deals, and whatnot. She is coming over this Friday with her kids and her coupon box!! lol

Waking up at 7:30 with the cat sleeping in between BF and I....instead of waking up at 3 am to him "talking" to us while we're asleep.
Tea on my patio while the air was still cool this morning.

We were all tired after going to a bowling birthday party last night. Woke up this morning and there was a two hour snow delay for school, then school was later cancelled. Everyone got to SLEEP IN! What a joy that was! We haven't had any snow for awhile and now the
is shinging brightly and the snow that got dumped on us this morning is melting quickly. Gotta love Colorado, as the saying goes, if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes!
