    Default Murphy go away!

Yes, Murphy has come for a visit here. Yesterday something happened w/ my van's brakes. The ABS light came on suddenly and it felt like the rear tires were dragging. I was just around the block from home. By the time I got home the rear passenger tire had shredded. The garage had JUST worked on the back brakes a couple of weeks ago.....They are coming to pick up my van in a little while.

UGH! That sounds awful. I hope the repair place fixes it at their cost since they had just worked on the brakes. They should have been aware of any issues that they didn't address, especially one that could have caused an accident.

Brakes locking up is their fault IMO if they just worked on them.

    True it's their fault.
I'm glad my son-in-law is a mechanic and all I ever have to pay for is parts.

Guess what, you guys were right. They admitted to it being their fault and replaced everything including a new tire for free. We didn't have to argue, they were honest. That's why we keep going back to them.

WOW, you just can't beat that.

They ruined one day and then made the next one for you.

Glad to hear about them fixing the problem! My truck was having problems a few months back and I spent big money on getting it fixed.

So sorry to hear that. We had Murphy here at our house for quite a while but I swear I didn't send him in your direction.

First I lost my job, then my other half lost his, my sister who's living with us got her hours knocked back and my daughter got laid off as well. Then the dog had to be put to sleep, my brakes went out and to top it all off we got home the other night after spending Easter with my parents and the deep freezer went out ruining our entire frozen stock pile.
