What is your favorite frugal 'treat'?
Mine is a hot cup of earl grey tea with a little milk and 1 spoon of sugar (I am drinking this as we 'speak').
I sit down with this tea and a good book and just relax for 30 minutes.
There is nothing in this world that makes me feel so good inside for so little money.
So what's yours?*Avril*

I have several "most' favorite things.
A long soak in the tub with the TV on or maybe a book.
Sitting on the Patio with a slight warm breeze and a nap.
Nice pot of Sage Tea (I grow the Sage) and a old cookbook to read through.
an Afternoon nap.

Well...it's not necessarily frugal...because it involves spending. But I so like getting 'me time' to shop for myself. It hardly ever happens. I need/want some new spring/summer clothes. I'm hoping to go out with a friend in a few weeks once she's done her exams. DH will watch the kids while I go out...so at least I don't have to hire a babysitter.
Another 'real' frugal thing is to have a nap in the afternoon. An obstacle is what comes up when you lose sight of your goal.

I love to wander through used book stores. I did this Saturday. I didn't buy a thing, but that's not the point. I love the quiet and solitude of being able to browse through years of books all alone.

Frugal pleasure for me? Sitting at the patio with lemonade or in front of the fire with a cup of earl grey tea the way Dutchie drinks hers & reading a good library book. :chillin:

So many simple pleasures, petting the cat, the smell of the lilacs around our back deck, hot tea on a quiet, cool morning...
But for a special treat, rice crispy squares can't be beat, as it costs about $1.50 per casserole pan.Use it up, Wear it out,

Taking a nap, soaking in a hot tub, half-price appies most anywhere, a nice hot cup of coffee with real cream, sunny days, curling up with my blankie in front of the fireplace when it's cold out, and cooking pretty much anything on the grill.

Not really sure what my frugal treat would be. I love browsing the bookstore and making a wish list for future or walking through the Chinese bakeries and inhaling lots
I love being able to soak in the tub as well. Could be tea & a great book.
I guess it depends on my mood so long as it gives me the warm fuzzies
