Scary morning
Woke up at 4:00 am to a crash in the bathroom to see my 18 year old daughter passed out on the bathroom floor. When she came to she couldn't sit up with out passing out.
We phoned 911 and spent the rest of the day in Emerge.
She apparently came down with a sudden flu/ fever and that on top of racing a marathon on Saturday resulted in sudden dehydration which caused her to become very dizzy.
They put her on a drip and medication.
We are home now and she is sleeping on the couch, she should be fine now. But I am waiting for her to wake up to be sure.... what a Monday morning!

What a scary way to start your day!! Please keep us posted = and take care of yourself too!!

Whoa, that WAS scary!
I did that to my mom at that age---passed out in the BR middle of the night from a UTI. The pain was bad, and I think I was feverish too. She heard a thump and didn't even check! I woke up curled up on the floor, with a goose egg from hitting my head on the bath tub.
Glad your daughter is going to be OK.______

She is doing fine now. We are keeping the fever in check with tylenol and she is drinking lots of fluids. The nausea and dizziness is all gone, phew...
Just a sore throat but she is looking much better.

This happened to me before! I woke up, and got in the shower getting ready for work and passed out in the shower!! I believe I woke up a few seconds later on the floor and screamed for DH. Called out of work (and they were pissed, would ya believe it?!) and rested for the day and felt better! It was scary though!!!
Thinking of your daughter today and hope she is feeling better!
