New member from SE Texas
How did you hear about frugal village?
Searching for a do-it-yourself project and found it discussed
on a thread on this forum
What interests you here?
The whole idea of frugally going green is becoming very
important to me. Reading through posts. I find it's very
important to others here, also.
What will you contribute?
Whatever I can. I am am older divorced mom of four with
three grandchildren and I've lots of experience to share.
Do you know any other members here?
I don't think so. But, that can change! :O)
How many kids? Ages?
Son, 40; daughter, 32; daughter, 30; son, 27.
Tell us about yourself.
I'm never sure what is pertinent. I am planning to retire
fairly soon and move to some property outside of the city.
Waaaay outside of the city! And, I plan to continue to do
gardening and raise some chickens and some goats, as well
as sell some of my wares and do bartering for things I need.
Do you own any pets?
A dog and a cat.
Occupation?
Secretary to a civil engineer.
Married or single?
Happily divorced.
Interests and hobbies?
Okay. Long list! Sewing, quilting (I taught that for over 20
years), spinning (as in yarn and thread), gardening, cooking,
woodworking, reading, and learning new things.
Thanks for this forum. I think it will be a good time investment to share with others the things we know and the things we learn.
:O)
