    Default Howdy-howdy friends and neighbors

Although I've been popping in and reading some, I haven't posted much in ages. Just wanted to check in and say howdy. Looks like you're all stayin' busy with penny pinchin' and looking for ways to make life better, easier and more peaceful. Still doing all the same ol' things that we've always done around our place to do the same and are always looking for more ways to make life easier. Spring time has given me a renewed urge to purge.....anyone else?

    Hello!

I'm trying to sell everything but the kids but nothing's selling. So I'd like to purge but I am ending up with a closet full of stuff that wont sell. (even after reducing prices, sigh)

Maybe you can give me your two cents? Are you selling things or just purging by donating?

I've donated so much the past several years that I was wanting to start selling on Craig's list. Its very discouraging. No shows or no bites, I don't know which is worse.

2012 Grocery Budget Reduction Challenge- $100 a month. (down from $150) Hm, might be too low.
Electric Usage Challenge (doing well, under $70 most months)

Yah, I suck at this money stuff, I know. That's why I'm here.

I've been here, same place (home) just doing the same stuff as usual. My dad requires a little more of my attention these days although he's doing *pretty* good most of the time. It seems like my energies go into bookkeeping and housework (neither of which I am particularly jazzed about doing but you know....we all have things that we [I]have[I] to do....). Thanks for kind words....

Krb-I usually just take my nicer things to a consignment and if they don't sell donate to a thrift store....Have you had a garage sale yet? That might help ya get rid of lotsa of stuff and make a few bucks to boot.
