Don't you just hate it when.....
Got up this morning and got the kids all off to school. Came back in to get my morning coffee. I fixed the coffee pot and started it. Went and checked on the little ones and came back to get my first cup of the day. Coffee and grinds were everywhere. The coffee urn was sitting next to the coffee maker. l cleaned up my mess and got the coffee pot ready for another try. I turned on the pot and went and fixed younger children's breakfast. Walked back in and come to find out, I forgot to put the water in the coffee maker. All I wanted was a cup of coffee!!!!!
Third times the charm. Finally got my cup of coffee.

This is why I drink instant in the morning. I did that at my parents house last time I was there, except instead of forgetting the pot I forgot the basket, so it just spewed water all over the place.

Let's see, this weekend I broke my car, my laptop, and my sprinkler system. My bf told me to stop touching stuff.

Yep, I have been there. I can NOT function AT ALL without my coffee! Cleaning it up off the counter instead of drinking it from a cup is CRUEL and UNUSUAL punishment first thing in the morning.

I agree with Mary. Cleaning BEFORE coffee should be against the law. I usually forget to empty the old coffee and that means an over-full pot.

Fixed my second cup, left it on the table and kinda forgot about it. 18 month old child found it and poured it all over the floor. Definitely a Monday but so glad I finally got the first cup.

I recently poured olive oil in my tea instead of the pan on the stove top. Made me realized I needed to slow down for a couple of days. Frugal me was upset I had to throw away a perfectly good cup of tea because of the oil. lol

Lol. Ever hear of "pregnant brain"? When everything you do is an example of how dumb you are, but you can blame it on the hormones? Yeah, right here.

This is only funny because she did not get more seriously hurt.
My ds was just given a pretty nice scooter that can be driven on the street. It is bigger than a moped. His gf's grandfather gave it to him to have or sell. My dd wanted to try it after we all had given it a ride. Ds didn't think she was capable of it. It is harder than it looks to drive the thing.
Dh and I were outside with her and she did fine the first time. Well we were standing next to her and she was going to go for a spin again and she did the gas instead and drove headon into dh's new car! The cars bumper thank goodness gave a little and just got scratched, but the scooters fender and dd were almost under the car. Once she was pulled out and found to be basically okay accept badly scraped leg. We busted out laughing. Not dh though. It was more out of what ds was going to say. He kept saying she wasn't gong to do good on it. He would not even stay outside to see her.
Well was proved right. And I looked dumb for sure. Now we have to get the scooters bumper fixed.
It did scare the heck out of dh and I though, it could have been sooooooo much worse.Married 22 years to Mark
