Unexpected Expense - A Small Rant

So my laptop, which has been on life support for a while now, looks like it is going to die within days.

I am thinking I will probably replace it with a desk top (cheaper), but even so, it's a stupid expense I don't need right now.

I am debating whether to hold off, since I have a little notebook, and I have a computer at work, but argh! Either way, there is a big stupid pay out coming at some point soon!!

Back up your important files ASAP!

You can sometimes get refurbished computers inexpensively. Unless you are doing pro quality artwork, programming, or playing the newest computer game you usually do not need a "new" computer.

We just had to finally get a new model... this spring. Nothing lasts anymore....

I'm there with ya on the unexpected expense part. Today, I had to go out to Home Depot and buy a new face mount tub and shower unit. Our old one's been chewing up washers for a while and now, the disperser (the assembly that sits inside the mount housing that controls the water going from your tap to your shower head) refuses to stay put.

$89 later, we had to buy it well before we wanted to.
