Has anyone ever heard of an old saying that goes...
My Mother had a old saying when she and someone would say the same word at the sametime. I cant remember it, I can only remember they would grab pinkies and that she would say what goes up a chimney and the other person would say smoke.Another part I rememeber is she would say when a wife marries trouble begins.
Touch blue make a wish and it will come true.
This is bits and parts that I remember.I hope someone has heard of it.I have tried to google it but I am coming up with nothing. Thanks in advance

If we marry
Our trouble begins.
What goes up a chimney?
Smoke.
May your wish and my wish

I've always heard that you're supposed to punch the other person's upper arm and say "owe me a pepsi cola" before the other person punches your arm.
Some of my friends say "owe me a Coke" instead. Here in the South we say "Coke" for any soft drink.

Oh my goodness - I remember that.
You take the pinkie of the person with whom you say the same thing and then the thumb.
In Scotland we said,
pinkie to pinkie
thumb to thumb
make a wish
and it's sure to come.*Avril*
