    Default Complicated life?

I was reading Prestons blog, very nice btw, and got me to thinking...
    Is my life complicated?

I don't know! What defines complication? A difficult task? Something annoying? Maybe just something you DON'T want to do. Less clutter? Maybe the clutter is comforting.

Do I want it to be really simple?

    hmmmm.
What defines your "uncomplicated life"? Or...

Maybe you didn't realize your life was complicated.

Stop over analyzing so much, you are starting to sound like a woman! j/k I think life itself is complicated. I think relationships with people are even more so.

I think that "life" by definition is complicated (defined as complex) and thats a good thing as the alternative is stagnation.

Now "over complication" is bad. I would define that as when we voluntarily/involuntarily throw road blocks in our own way.

-we have too many pets because I couldn't say the "N" word=NO.

-We have too much clutter because I hold dear my folks depression ways and my DD get emotionally attached to objects thru memories.

-Drama can't have teens w/o that (can you smell the hormones burning)

-DH's job constant travel (arrangements, rescheduling at a moments notice, phones ringing) price paid for income

    -menopause enuf said

I don't think theres a bad point to self examination like this periodically. It gets you out of the groove and into more concious choices. That said- you can also analyze to paralyze if you don't actually act on your observations. I know as I get older I plan on lightening the load.

    i think it all depends.

do you have the basics - shelter, clothing, food

    do you have true friendships

    are you happy

this shall be an interesting thread, i think

i dont like all the complications! noone said life was easy, but it doesnt have to be complicated imo
