    Default Bragging on my hubby the A/C man

    Hubby works for the hospital doing A/C . On occasion he gets asked to do side jobs for co workers. Word got around and now friends of friends are calling him. Some lady asked him to redo all her duck work and he told her 45 an hour. She took a few days to shop around and called him back after she found out that was cheap. But she still complained a little about how much it was going to be. That is until he did the work yesterday.
    I met her last night and she stopped me to brag about him. She said he has one Heck of a work ethic and was worth every penny. She complimented him so much it brought me to tears. I have always known he is a very hard worker but to hear it from strangers is so cool. It really makes me appreciate all he does for me.

    The next time your man comes in all dirty and sweaty from a hard days work, hug him.

    Aww, that's sweet!
    “When you get to the end of all the light you know
    and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
    faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
    you will be given something solid to stand on,
    or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller

    “Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
    there are signs that the world is speedily
    coming to an end;
    bribery and corruption are common; children no
    longer obey their parents;
    every man wants to write a book and the
    end of the world is evidently approaching.”
    — From a translation of an inscription on
    an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.

    God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
    courage to change the things I can,
    and the wisdom to know the difference
    .

    And would he take a job in Baltimore?
    If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

    Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

    My A/C man is worth his weight in gold! My entire family has used him for some time now. If anyone even mentions A/C work, I step up with my guys business card. I had him give me a handful. He gets the majority of his business through word of mouth.

    He just installed a new A/C and furnace for me last month. I had him install a new A/C, furnace, and duct work in my mom's house a few years ago. Prior to that he kept mom's furnace running LONG after others would have insisted she put a new one in.

    I have odd size filters and he gets them for me and doesn't charge me extra. I have called him on the weekend when there was a problem AND he called me back and walked me through the problem and the fix over the phone. If that hadn't worked, he would have come over. He cleans up behind himself, explains things in detail, etc.

    I kept ice water, lemonade, etc. on hand in large quantities for him and his workers. Working in the attic in Houston summer heat and humidity is literally a killer.
