Default Been A while..dealing with Tn flooding!

Hey everyone! For the last 2 weeks we have had our hands full! I am in Middle Tn and we have had some nasty flooding and the aftermath has been unreal. Our house didnt suffer much. Just a little water under it but my Dads house had water almost to the ceiling. So many areas of middle Tn suffered so much and even though the floods didnt get much national news coverage it is being labeled as one of the most costly non hurricane disasters in US history. Hopefully things will start getting back to some sort of normal soon although we will be doing repairs for months to get things back right!

I'm so sorry this happened and I saw alot of coverage on it, at least here they were talking about it. Unbelievable.
Flooding is such a horrible feeling, nothing you can do to stop it and you just stand there watching it slowly, ever slowly ruin everything.
Hope you all can recover from this asap and it never happens again.

ohHave been following the flooding problems way over here - the pictures shown on tv I'm sure have not done the depth of damage justice - even though the coverage has been scary. So many people suffering so much loss.

Mahalo for checking in, please do so more often and let us know how you are doing.

Blessings to you and your family.

thanks everyone! I think most folks here were frustrated that the national media didnt start covering it until a few days had past. Anderson Cooper did a two hour special about a week or so ago and it was really good. I am gtlad to see that yall did see some coverage!

I saw the Anderson Cooper special and am glad that he devoted so much time to it. I'm glad y'all are okay but I'm sorry that your dad had so much damage from the flooding.
