Bears, snakes, coyotes - oh my!! Lucky I live Hawaii!!
I don't think that I would ever get used to seeing them!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

2 years ago, at our house that sits on the edge of Mt Rainier National Park we had a bear visit. I had just taken hamburgers of the grill on the deck. We had french doors they were both wide open. My dd was sitting at the dining room table when she said "Mom, there's a bear on the deck". I replied yeah...sure. She said "No really Mom, LOOK". I turned around and sure enough the bear was walking up the steps not 6 feet from the doors. I walked over to the french doors and was in complete amazement of what I was seeing. My husband jumped up slammed the doors and locked them...to which I replied...."Oh... that's a pretty good idea I guess" LOL that bear could have been in my house in another couple of seconds the way I was handling it.... Thank goodness he's much wiser than I......
