    Default My frugal daughter

Thought this was a funny little story. Apparently by being frugal I have taught my 2 year old a little something. She was at the toy store with her Grammy and was looking at a toy. She put it back on the self and looked at the toy next to it. She then turns to my mom and tells her this one is cheaper. My mom said she was laughing so hard.

Thinking before you spend is a great lesson learned, sometimes spending more is warranted often times it's not... Choosing wisely is key. WTG little spender!
Thanks for sharing, it made me smile.

You must be sooo proud! I know the feeling- recently my 4 yo was promised a matchbox car the next time we went to Walmart IF he let me buzz his hair at home without a big fuss. Well, he earned his car- but while we were there, he couldn't find one he wanted enough- he told me 'I'll pick one next time, if they have different ones'. For a child who is easily reduced to tears and shrieking over the smallest impatience riling scenarios, I was SHOCKED he showed a little understanding of delayed gratification! Sure enough, next trip, he found the 'right' one.
