Default What do you see and what do you hear...

    ..at this very moment?

For me it is one of the nicest moments of the week.
I am sitting in the shade on the swinging couch with my laptop in my back yard/garden which has some mature fruit trees and evergreens and I can hear the little birds which have come out of the nest in the bird house hung next to where I am sitting. I hear other birds too and I can hear and feel a soft wind rustling through the trees.

I can see a lilac tree in front of me (about 10 yards away) just beyond the patio and to my right about 5 yards away I can see my chickens lying in the sun in the coop. The lilac tree has just finished blooming.
The rest of the garden/yard fans out between the patio and the chicken coop and it is looking pretty nice even though I say so myself.
(Just been planting some veggies and removing some weeds.)
The veggies are doing well and dh's azaleas are still blooming as though their lives depend on it.

    All together a good Saturday.
So what do you see and hear around you while you are on the forum today?

I see a messy desk lol but if I look out my window by the putter I see green grass with trees gently blowing in the wind and freshly planted farm land.

I hear my daughter in the shower and the tv in the other room. Just came in from outside where you could see and hear all the animals here on the farm.

Kenny Rogers is singing and I see a messy home. I smell the neighbors garbage burning.

I hear birds chirping, neighbor kids playing, Old Man playing pool, and the clicky-clatter of my typing.

I see the sunlight coming through my slider, a very cluttered desk and my coffee cup.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Good question. I just turned off my tv since it was making noise so I could not hear the birds chirping clearly. Right now they are having a great time singing away.

I'm at my desk at work in the library. The circulation counter is in front of and to my left. I am on the main floor. I see the displays on history of medicine, plants, tables, books. Desk stuff.

No people. All the students or off in put of sight corners or on the other floors.

The only thing I hear is the rattle of this old keyboard. Silent as the morgue, and almost as lively.

Lets see, I hear a bird outside and a woodpecker pecking away also. I hear the neighborhood kids playing outside on their bikes and I smell a bbq going at their house also. I hear the tv playing. I see our cats all piled next to each other (there are three of them) on the couch asleep. I can look out the backdoor from here and see my dh sitting at his worktable in the garage working on a model airplane.

I just came in from the "swish, swish" of flattening the face of a board with a handplane. Something satisfying about seeing a floor covered in little curlies.
