    Oh, yeah, all the time!

Most things are on my garage sale list at this time of year (sadly, next big purchase will be computer which I think I probably need to buy new) or on a thrift shop list, then I wait for them to come to me.

But something's I just can just as easily live without if I reframe my thinking.

I'm just starting to do this conciously - but I think I have been doing this all my life - probably why I started sewing so young - to have the clothes I wanted but could never afford!!

We've done this , since the kids were little. . .

"how long can we make the jar of peanut butter last?

"how long can we go before we have to go to the grocery store again?"

"can we not waste any food this week?"

I do that all the time. Why suffer or be miserable when you can find joy, goodness and fun in just about everything?

I challenge myself to not leave the house on a daily basis. If I leave the house, then I spend money.

    I do this also!
When I do have to leave, I try to line up all the errands/shopping so I don't have to back track or waste gas.

I can't recall feeling bad about not being able to get something, for whatever reason there may be. If I can't/won't get something, I have a valid reason, and I accept that reason.
